Short post to get my thoughts out there.
If people were given a choice to choose their profession, and if all jobs pay equally, I bet we’d have lesser lawyers, quantity surveyors and other heck-boring jobs out there. Just saying. But our world needs them to keep a community intact, filling the niche of the jobs no one wants to do. Yea, even garbage collectors and auditors.
Oh well, weather is horribly humid and my sanity levels are close to its breaking point. And I swear my study is several degrees warmer than the rest of the house. Need….to….get….out….of….here……
On a JB roll.
Having a conversation with a friend over quiche and coffee, and the subject of blogging came up! And I’ve got sucked into an agreement to attempt writing again. I probably will for a while. Though I can’t promise anything winks winks.
Anyway, let’s get down to business. Huge question:
Is there anymore to life than just……this?
As in, is there more to human life than to aimlessly spend it in predetermined monotony? Birth. School. Graduation. Work. Marriage. Death. It’s a storyboard that I see myself heading into, with the first three already completed and heading to the fourth: work. And I don’t like to see it that way because it’s too simple! There’s gotta be so much more we can pursue in life for me to be fully contented on my deathbed, with my goals/achievements/wants/needs ticked off.
My question is probably similar to ‘what is the meaning of life?’. And after little Me’s go running amok around inside of my brain, I find that I cannot answer the question at all. Maybe we’ve just got to lumber through life until we find its purpose. But do you wanna hear my theory? I believe that if we look hard enough, if you care enough, you can find the magic of life in everything. Imagine the sound of raindrops on leafy canopies, feel the hugs that you get from your loved ones, savor the aroma and taste of that cup of coffee and get astounded by Hans Zimmer. Learning to enjoy life IS the meaning of life.
Sleep under stars and always do what makes you happy (rationally).
Happy Saturday!
Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better. It’s not.

Life is funny. I like to waste time writing about it.
Just because it's in print doesn't mean it's intelligent...
